He started studying for the Bachelor of Science at the McGill University but didn’t finish the degree to move on to a different field that excites him more.

Therefore he wants to do more especially in the area of musculoskeletal reconstruction which is his passion. He trained at several universities, achieving a Diploma and later a Post Graduate Fellowship Training, Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the McGill University in Montreal.

He wants to change how oral surgery, especially oral reconstruction surgery. Many people suffer from bone problems because of such issues as tumors. Previously the only way this kind reconstruction would happen would be by taking a bone from somewhere else in the body.

According to Bloomberg, the recovery process is long and can be very painful. Dr. Cameron Clokie wanted to change that, and through research and education, he was able to create a new and much less invasive method.

Cameron Clokie and his passion, as well as training, allowed him to achieve a high level of excellence as a teacher, researcher and he also teaches others.
